About the Farm
Hi my name is Shad Stagl, owner/operator of Stagl Organics.
I’ve been gardening here in Glendale for the last 7 years, and have learned so much along the way. The experience taught me not only about how to grow food, but how to run a business, how to be part of something larger than myself, and how to try to do it with grace ( the grace part is a constant practice lol). I think a profound part of this community endeavour that I had not anticipated years ago, was how many connections would happen. From you, to all the volunteers, and the school field trips, the woofers, and all the friends who helped out along the way, I feel truly abundant for your association.
Looking Farward –
The New year brings the start of the next chapter of Stagl Organics. This was my last season gardening here in Glendale. Wasatch Community Gardens purchased the property from the previous owner in December of 2023. I was able to purchase 6 acres of farmland In Monroe Utah In December of 2024, and am so very excited to start building the new farm.
Using everything I’ve learned over the years, My intention is to create a Vibrant and Sustainable farm, regenerating the soil, increasing biodiversity, and connecting community. The New Farm will be wonderfully diverse in our offerings. And this diversity is the glue that holds a sustainable and bright future.
I have been planning the design and layout of the farm for the last few months. Here are some of the items we will be providing in the future.
